– Protects pulp and dentine against irritants or harsh drying.
– Good thermal and electric insulation.
– Protects calcium hydroxide-based cavity liners during etching.
– Temporary protection of exposed dentine and cement.
Properties:
– Excellent insulation of dentine.
– Significant reduction of hypersensivity, especially around the tooth neck.
– Low heat conducti on.
